By Trevor Hewett
Sometimes,
stepping out into the dark garden
late at night
and looking up to cold stars
in quiet air,
you get to thinking
how still the world could be
if it wasn't for
us people and our need
for better and for more
and you wonder how
we got this way
and whether any notion of content
we may have had
is now as distant and receding
as the galaxies above.
Trevor Hewett is an Englishman who lives and
writes in his native Cornwall. Published widely in the UK and internationally,
he has a short collection of work - 'The Patchwork Woman' - available
from Mockfrog Design Press, Australia -- AND a new collection 'Drift'
available right here at KotaPress!!! Check it out in our eStore.
