By Christine Dutton
lying in the grass
lens angled,
a secretive glance
at you
lazy and uninspired
but wary
of my flash pop
as I snap, snap
the shot
catching the second
of your body
slouched across
the bench
catching a sliver
of a smile
engaged
By the view
of the weeping
flaunting willow
embracing the
shape of your
presence
you imagine
you are alone
until I stride up
beside you
and exclaim
your beauty
with close-ups
and the shutter
sounding off
that you
have meaning
