»»Gabrielle Faust, Founder & Director of Stand Together Benefit Group, wrote to say that they are still in need of poets to perform at the 9-11 benefit. They are also offering a silent auction and are looking for artists to donate works. It would be great to have materials be 9-11 related, but they are open to other options, too. Did you grow up with the Neighborhood of Make Believe and now have the good fortune of sharing that world with your own children? If so, it's up to you to keep the Neighborhood available for viewing in your own area of the world! Individual PBS stations line up the "children's programming" and some of them are looking to replace the Neighborhood as we move into a more "tech" driven world. But our kids are NOT "technology" -- they are KIDS! Keep the Neighborhood available for your kids! Contact your local PBS station, and tell them you support KEEPING the Neighborhood!!

Haibun: Please submit 2 haibun, up to 750 words each, that reflect the theme of the issue. We seek haibun that is imagistic, somewhat objective, and terse like a prose poem. Haibun should be typed single-spaced, on one side of the page.

And the last 10% will go to the national office to support their outreach and the medical research that is happening about stillbirth at The Pregnancy Institute.
