There are not enough thanks in the universe to tell you all how grateful
I am for your readership, your contributions, and your support!
This issue is packed full of ideas, supports, resources and more -- all
contributed from bereaved parents and other amazing care givers who truly
understand how very difficult the holidays are after the death of a loved
one. And in this KotaPress safe space, we don't count how many years or
days it's been since your loved one died -- we just know that any holiday
stinks when you have lost a child or other family member.
Katie Smith did a FABULOUS job as my co-editor for this issue of the Loss
Journal. She's contributed wonderful works this issue and pointed me in
so many great directions for finding other materials. I want to send huge
thanks to all the parents on our KotaPress Yahoo Discussion Group who
shared ideas, posts, and more for this issue. I want to point out that
our links and our Memoiral Garden both have new additions.
Please take your time, enjoy a cuppa tea or a latte, and meander through
this whole issue. Make this your time to take care of yourself -- remember
that sometimes during the holidays, self-preservation is most important
for just getting through each moment. And that is OKAY!
Miracles!
