Good Grief Center, based in Pittsburgh, PA, founded by Lulu Orr, offers support groups not only for bereaved parents, but also for Daughters Without Mothers, Youth, Widow/Widower plus bereavement care packets and more. Grief Watch is the home of the book Tear Soup. They offer support group, other books and products like infant urns and more. The Sidney Center, named in honor and memory of Sidney Eve Alves, offers education, counseling and support to bereaved families and their caregivers after the death of a child, pregnancy loss, or infant death. Eugene, OR. 541-284-2712. TCF is the national organization for The Compassionate Friends. The Compassionate Friends is a nationwide support organization for families that have experienced the death of a child of any age from any cause. They even have materials speaking directly to pregnancy loss, stillbirth, neo-natal death now, too. NeoFight is the Indiana based group doing phone and peer to peer support for families enduring neo-natal fight for life or grief journey after death of a baby. MEND offers faith-based support, newsletter, workshops, and events with emphasis on Christian belief. A Common Bond is a Seattle Children's Hospital Guild, hosting memorial events including a holiday Angel Tree benefitting their outreach programs. In Washington State - Western WAHighline Medical's Healing from Loss groups - 8 week group for people who have lost a loved one, new groups begin quarterly, call 206-439-9095 for information and registration. Grief Support - A walk-in support group at Highline Medical Main Campus, for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month, 2 to 3:30pm, call 206-439-9095 for information.
