Through our misty tears she flies,
Wearing now her wings.
As we struggle with her absence,
Seeing not these spirit things.
She touched our lives with pleasure,
Now to bring us pain.
The brightest ray of sunshine,
Gone, replaced by rain.
But in our hearts we feel her,
In our hearts she will live on.
For those of us who knew and loved her,
Though she's not here, she is not gone.
