Self Publishing

"  This information on self publishing was absolutely incredible...$40 - it's truly worth more than that...I did a thorough search of the internet and just couldn't find the answers before taking this class - and you answered questions I didn't even know to have, yet. It was amazing.  "

Self Publishing Made Easy
a one week eCourse with eWorkbook
Facilitated by Kara L.C. Jones
Price: $40.00

About the eCourse

Don't stay in the closet with your writings! Break out of the mind-washing, victim-mentality that comes with "academic discussions" about "real writers" and "real publisher" and "vanity publishing." Empower yourself to get your work out into the world! At the very least, let us suggest that you could so easily test the market and present real sales performance and audience demographics to "real publishers" by doing it yourself first!!! This eCourse is offered to answer your questions about self publishing and to point you in the right directions for doing even more research and development on your own projects!! Topics cover everything from layout and book cover, to print-on-demand and copyrights, from ISBN to marketing. A pdf format eWorkbook is provided to each student. Students are free to email questions to facilitator at any time throughout the week. Facilitator will answer questions within 24 to 48 hours.

An eWorkbook in PDF format will be emailed to you within 24 hours after you register for the class. The file is approx. 150kb and should be accessible via email easily. Facilitator Biography

Kara L.C. Jones is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where she honed her poetic craft under the mentorship of Jim Daniels. Her poetic and non-fiction works have been included in publications such as New Works Review, PoetsWest, Real Henna, Shared Heart Foundation's "Meant To Be", LightHearts Publication's "Soul Trek", MISSing Angels Newsletter, American Tanka, Mother Tongue Ink's We'Moon, Honored Babies, Cup of Comfort series, and more. Because she refused to give her grief writing over to the control of outside editors and publishers after the death of her son, she and her husband Hawk founded KotaPress in 1999 as a creative outlet for their expressive artworks. Many of her works have been published this way, including: Flash of Life, Mrs. Duck and the Woman (in English and Spanish language), Father Son Holy Ghost, BodyWrites, Expanded Mrs. Duck, Self Publishing Made Easy, and more. She has been facilitating online and in-person workshops for over 10 year, including sessions offered at the International MISS Conferences, WA State Poets Association Burning Word festivals, and Course Bridge.
